Behind the scenes: how we handle every referral
Once your doctor sends a referral to TheraVite, our team goes to work on your behalf — verifying benefits, checking clinical appropriateness, and finding financial assistance before your first appointment. Here is what happens, step by step:
Prescription received
Your prescription is entered into our system by our intake team, and a dedicated care coordinator is assigned to you.
Clinical review
A pharmacist reviews your therapy for clinical appropriateness, drug interactions, and any concerns to raise with your prescriber.
Benefits investigation
We verify your insurance — pharmacy versus medical benefit, primary and secondary coverage, and your expected out-of-pocket cost.
Financial assistance
We identify and apply for every manufacturer copay program, foundation grant, or patient assistance program you may qualify for.
Onboarding
Your care coordinator walks you through what to expect, schedules your first visit or delivery, and answers every question you have.
Typical timeline from referral to first treatment is 5 to 10 business days. Urgent cases are expedited whenever possible.
